FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the most important house rules?
Our house rules are designed to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for you, your fellow residents, and the surrounding neighbours. We ask everyone to respect these rules and treat each other and the property with care and consideration.
The house rules are available in all of our accommodations and should be followed at all times.
Where can I find the collective labour agreement (CLA) for temporary workers?
The collective labour agreement (CLA) for temporary workers in the Netherlands sets out the terms and conditions of employment for agency workers. This includes agreements about salary, working hours, holidays, pension schemes and other employment rights.
B2Works operates under the NBBU collective labour agreement. The most recent version of the CLA can be found on the official ABU website: NBBU-cao voor uitzendkrachten | NBBU
We recommend reviewing the CLA to understand your rights and obligations as a temporary worker in the Netherlands. If you have questions about how the CLA applies to your specific situation, please contact your B2Works manager.
Where on my paycheck can I see the pension benefits that I am accruing?
At the top of your paycheck is the abbreviation “PNS.” If the box below it has the letter “J,” then you are accumulating pension benefits.
I don’t want to pay pension contributions in order to have more net pay left over. Is this possible?
No, it is not possible to avoid paying pension contributions as this would be contrary to Dutch law.
Why pension contributions cannot be skipped
In the Netherlands, pension arrangements are often organised collectively. Depending on the sector you work in, participation in a pension scheme may be mandatory. This means you cannot simply choose to stop paying contributions to increase your net salary, even if you would prefer to arrange your retirement savings differently.
What this means for your payslip
Your payslip includes a pension deduction. Both the employer and the employee contribute.
Are pension (retirement) contributions deducted from my salary?
We jointly pay the pension premium of 23.4% of the pension base towards your pension. We contribute 15.9% and you contribute 7.5%. You can see on your pay slip how much pension premium you pay. We take care of the payment of the premium to StiPP.
What does the pension plan B2Works has arranged for me look like?
As a B2Works employee, you are entitled to participate in the StiPP pension plan. You can learn all about this pension plan on the StiPP website: https://www.stippensioen.nl/
Am I entitled to pension benefits if I work as a temporary employee?
At StiPP, you build up pension from your very first working day if you are 18 or older. Since 1 January 2026, StiPP has introduced one single pension scheme for all temporary workers. This means the previous Basic Scheme and Plus Scheme no longer apply.
What should I do if I have a workplace injury or accident?
If you are involved in a workplace injury or accident, you must immediately inform your manager at the client company as well as B2Works. Reporting an accident at work as soon as possible is important to ensure proper follow-up and documentation.
The client company is responsible and therefore liable for your working conditions. This means they must provide a safe working environment and follow Dutch health and safety regulations.
After reporting the incident, make sure the accident is officially registered. If medical attention is needed, inform both your client supervisor and B2Works so we can support you with the correct procedures. Always keep copies of any medical documents or accident reports for your own records.
If you are unsure about the next steps or feel that the situation has not been handled properly, contact your B2Works manager directly for guidance and assistance.
